The effect of repeated flexion-based exercises versus extension-based exercises on the clinical outcomes of patients with lumbar disk herniation surgery: a randomized clinical trial

1. Exercise is better than no exercise post operatively for discectomy. 2. There were no clear between group differences for the two exercise types studied. 3. Extension exercise increases physical measures associated with extension, and flexion exercise increases physical measures associated with flexion.
