The evidence for improving balance and falls prevention recommend exercises that have a moderate to high challenge to balance with a high dosage of those exercises; that is, at least three hours a week (Sherrington et al., 2016).


Exercise alone can reduce the incidence of falls by almost 40 per cent if the exercises meet the recommendations (Sherrington et al., 2016).
